Great tips! We have 12 to buy for so I try to shop for one person each month throughout the year. This helps pinch my pennies.
I like the idea of doing things that people will appreciate or doing a service – not necessarily getting gifts or spending money. They are practical and efficient tips.
Such great ideas. I’m guilty of procrastinating and I know that ends up costing me $. One thing I do is when I think of a good gift idea during the year, I make a note with a reminder message in my digital calendar, so I get a reminder of what I planned to buy them and I’m not scrambling for ideas, spending $ on items that aren’t the best choice.
Thank you for sharing this. We are really working on teaching our children that material things aren’t the end all be all so I also like the idea of services. Great ideas!
Such good advice for preparing for Christmas! I hate leaving people out but sticking to a prebudgeted list of predetermined gift recipients is a great thing to do. Also, I had never thought to fill my car up on certain days of the week, so I don’t ever run out. That’s such a good idea!
These are very useful tips! Thanks for sharing!!
