Focus Scripture: Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” Job 1:8
Have you ever thought about just how much God trust you? Looking back over your life, have you ever questioned God and some of the things that He allowed to happen to you?
Often times we question God and His reasoning. “Why me God? Why did that have to happen to me? Do You even care about me?” God is not ignorant to your pain and the test and trials He allows you to go through.
Job was considered blameless and upright in the sight of God. He trusted Job so much that He allowed Satan to put him through a number test and trials. Why? Because God was confident that Job would trust Him, despite what he was going through. See Job 13:15.
Be grateful when God allows tests and trials in your life, it means that He has enough confidence and trust in YOU, that you won’t make Him look bad in the process.
Prayer: Father, thank you so much for trusting me. There are times that I question your love and care for me when I am experiencing pain, please forgive me. You know what’s best for me. Help me to adopt the attitude like Job, though you slay me, I will always trust you. It is in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!
Always right in time sis! Amen!
Wow! This was just what I needed to hear today. I was fired from my job yesterday and I hadn’t thought about the fact that God TRUSTS me enough to do the things that glorify Him in this season.
Thank you, Tiff!
Sis, I am praying for you. But God got you! I know you know this but, He has His hands all over your life. This testimony is about to be bananas!
