Bible Reading: Ephesians 3:17-19
Focus Verse: be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; Ephesian 3:18(AMP)
“God I know you can, but will you do it for me?” Have you ever been there? You know that place. That place where your faith is fine. You know that God can do it. He said it in His word, Jeremiah 32:27; you have seen Him do it time and time again, for so many others. But you begin to think; will He do it for ME?
I’ve been there and you may have been there a time or two as well. Can I ask you a question? Why do we consistently question God’s love for us? We do it so much; we probably don’t even realize that’s what we are doing!
You may be asking, “but what does love have to do with wondering if God will do that thing that I desire the most, for me, in my life? Well here’s your answer. When we believe that God CAN, but question if He WILL, we are subconsciously questioning His love for us. What we are really saying is, “God I know You can…, but do You love me enough to do it for me?”
If He defeated death, hell, and the grave, for you, I promise you, He loves you enough to do whatever your “it” is. When Jesus died on the cross for you, His death answered every, “will you do it for me” question.
Prayer: Yahweh, I am amazed at all that You are. Thank You for loving me. Forgive me for questioning Your love for me. Help me to always be mindful that You can and You will for me. In Your precious son Jesus’ name, Amen!
