A while ago, I posted a video on Instagram, of a conversation I had with a creep coworker. He commented that I must have showered that day because I just smelled so good.
“You smell better than cake batter…”
“Don’t mind me, I just came over to smell you.”
” I know when you have walked by because everything smells so good. “
Recurrent Exchange
Coworker: “You know what I‘m about to ask you.”
Me: “It’s called Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel.”
These are legit comments/ conversations I encounter on a regular basis. I still struggle with if I should be weirded out or just grateful that I don’t smell like baby poop instead of baby powder. Question. What ever happened to compliments like, “you smell nice today”?
Anywho, if for whatever reason you long to be creeped out by individuals sniffing you and questioning your daily hygiene regimen, here’s a list of some amazing scents to include in your collection for this summa! Surprisingly, I’m not as creeped out, when I’m sniffing others because I admire their fragrance.
Disclaimer: I like scents period. I don’t discriminate. If it smells good to me, I’m wearing it. Regardless of who it’s intended for, male or female.
Decadence by Marc Jacobs

sephora.com/decadence
Decadence by Marc Jacobs embodies the spirit of irreverent glamour. Qualitative, opulent, surprising. A sensual, luxurious, woody fragrance, Decadence is the ultimate statement maker. Who wouldn’t love this decadently feminine bottle shaped like a handbag? And you know I love a handbag *insert lip smack* YES, Marc you did that!
Nirvana Black by Elizabeth and James

sephora.com/nirvana-black
Nirvana Black by Elizabeth and James is an addictive blend of alluring violet, sensual sandalwood and rich vanilla that strikes the perfect balance between masculine and feminine. The woody, classical fragrance is edgy and mysterious. And mysterious is always good. Gotta keep ‘em guessing, cause the people WILL try to clock you!

Prada Candy takes us on a walk on the wild side, showing us a new facet of Prada femininity where more is more and excess is everything. Magnified by white musks, noble benzoin comes together with a modern caramel accord to give the fragrance a truly unique signature. *cues Candy by Cameo*
Artisan by John Varvatos

scentbird.com/perfume/john-varvatos-artisan
John Varvatos’ Artisan embodies the lost art of craftsmanship—with a modern edge. It blends state-of-the-art, abstract-perfumery notes with citrus and herbal tonalities for a contemporary twist. The fragrance is a refreshing citrus explosion that develops into a spicy and floral blend followed by a masculine woody impression. The result is an unmistakable sense of hand-crafted luxury that exudes quality and individual character. If I could just testify for a minute, this one will have you saying, “Dang something smells good. Oh that’s me!” All. Day. Long.
1 Million by Paco Rabanne

scentbird.com/perfume/paco-rabanne-1-million
1 Million creates a multifaceted signature of masculinity. The freshness of grapefruit invites you into this audacious scent, combining in the top notes with mint and blood mandarin. Striking and assertive middle notes follow with a refined yet virile combination of rose, cinnamon, and spicy notes. The base notes evoke the ultimate velvety harmony of leather, white wood, amber and Indonesian patchouli essences. Once combined, the result is not merely one fragrance but an elegant, one-of-a kind intermingling of essences. YES! YES! and YES! Dear future husband…yup! Let me move on from here before I find myself stumbling. Help me Holy Ghost!
As much as I love fragrances, I have to continually remind myself to practice self control because I can seriously go broke trying to smell good. Recently, I came across Scentbird, an exclusive site that gives you access to a 30 day supply of hundreds of top designer fragrances for only $14.95. Now I can enjoy more of the fragrances that I love and not have to take out a 2nd mortgage to do so!
What about you? Let me hear it. I love to learn about new fragrances. What are some of your favorite scents this season?
I’m a huge fragrance lover as well! I’ll definitely check these out as gifts for my sisters. Thanks for posting.
They have men’s fragrances too. So you can get something for yourself as well. Thanks for stopping by!
Hahaha! Tiff you are so funny (creepy Co-worker) unfortunately I’ve seen a few of those in my day. Coco Chanel Mademoiselle does it EVERY TIME!! It’s one of my all-time classic fragrances and guys LOVE IT!! 😉 I have not tried the Prada or Marc Jacobs perfumes that you recommend here but I will definately be making a trip to Sephora really soon! Lately I’ve been stuck on Bond no. 9 (Scent of Peace for women and men, Central Park West) Chanel Chance Eau Vive, Tory Burch, Michael Kors Glam, Tom Ford Fleur Portofino and Dolce just to name a few!! I look forward to trying out the ones you mentioned. Thanks for sharing!!!
The creeps are real! OMG I’m excited about trying all of these they are all new to me. Thanks love!
Great post Tiffani! I too am big on scents and you listed one of my favorites. Will check out some of the other fragrances you listed as well, since they make great gifts and I believe in different fragrances during different seasons.
Thanks Jed! I hope you are as pleased with their service as much as I am!
LOL! Awesome post. Love the humor and the great reviews on the scents mentioned. Definitely want to check some of those that stuck out to me. (Anything with vanilla in it peaks my interest, thanks for adding such detail!) And thanks for providing the info on ScentBird! I have never heard of such a service, but I definitely like the idea. Some fragrances I really like in the store, and I go home and don’t like it as much or it’s not what I thought it would be (too strong of a scent, etc.)
Keep the tips coming!
Hi Darah, Im glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I have run into that problem too, but I end up just giving it away as a gift. Thanks for stopping by!
Oh this is perfect!!! I totally have been wanting a new scent…. I never know what to pick!
Porsha, this is a great way to try out different scents. And the amazing part is, if you don’t like a sent, you can always give it aways as a gift because you get a new one next month!
Although I do not wear unless going to an event I enjoy nice fragrances and know firsthand (coworker, and not the “creep”) those mentioned will definitely get your attention in a good way. Thanks for connecting me to the Scentbird Tiff!
Hahaha noted thanks for stopping by Cliff. I hope you like it!
All the perfume are great I would tell you the new one you must try but I don’t want every one smelling like me. If you get a chance try Bond #9 Chez and Creed Aventus.
Ok so there has consistently been talk about Creed and Bond #9! Definitely gotta check thour out!
Scentbird huh…. Will definitely have to check that out. For the summer I’m more partial to lighter scents like Creed (all of them especially Green Irish and Santal), Burberry Touch and D&G Light Blue. Classically, Clean, scents. Good lookin out!!!!
Yes Light Blue! Yeah check them out. I going to have to try these others. I like Burberry Weekend ?
Timely post Tiff! Don’t wear perfume a lot, but was thinking of trying a new one. Now you’ve given me a few ideas. I’m a sucker for packaging. The Artisan looks interesting.
Yeasssss Tiffani Yesss! I’ve been on the prowl for something new since they changed Calvin Klein Euphoria ? One of my faves is Daisy (blue) by Marc Jacobs and I’m always on the prowl for new Escada scents, but this is super helpful ! I will deff checkout the site. Thanks for sharing!
I am known to sniff people too! Lol don’t judge me! Especially when my boo has on paco rabanne 1 Million???. My favorite scent to wear is Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana.
Hahaha! My fellow sniffer! I too like D&G Light Blue. I wore that a lot last summer. Thanks for stopping by.
